Awards
Each year, the Awards Committee seeks nominations and review submissions for the following awards:
- Top edited book
- Top single author book
- Top journal article with a communication ethics focus
- Outstanding teaching in communication ethics.
The call for nominations is posted on this site and distributed via our email list and NCA’s CRTNet in the middle to end of each summer with a deadline for nominations in early Fall. Awards are given only in years when the committee deems submissions merit recognition.
The Division also gives awards to the top paper and the top student paper presented at the NCA Convention each year, as determined by the Vice Chair and the paper reviewers. The top student paper award includes a monetary prize from the Division’s annual budget.
